I’ve lived one hundred and 3 years since this day 3 years ago. (2020 has been 100 years long) But today I am remembering the moment I needed to go to Bangkok to finalize designing my jewelry collection @republicoftoma.fashion but instead of flying East from Venice to BKK I took the long route through New York. 

I went to New York for dinner with Lynn Yaeger a writer from Vogue asking if she would cohost my launch for Republic of Toma Fashion at @galerievauclair. 

She said Yes. And her endorsement launched my brand in Paris. 

The next morning I hopped a flight to Bangkok. 

And the gods smiled. 

We are 3 years in. It’s not been easy. And I definitely don’t know where this is going. But I am a better designer than I was when this began. I am a better business woman. I’ve made mistakes. Too many to count. But I have survived them. I am stronger for them.

With Covid the future seems so unclear- but when I think that I am a girl from Oklahoma who pulled a whirlwind week around the world like this I realize I can do anything I set my mind to. 

At the moment my question is not IF I can do something- it’s a more important question- Do I want to? What do I really want? This is the question in my dreams at night.
