How Pandemic Changed Me
End of year vibe in Venice.
2 days until a new year.
I find myself reflective. I am better now than I was last year at this time. A better person. A more balanced person. A happier more whole person.
In a year when I lost so much. I gained more.
I know myself better than I ever knew possible. I confronted my fears. I closed doors. I slowly started opening new ones.
3 special projects are in the works. I say no more for the time is too soon but dear readers, friends, know that I am happy and full of hope for the future.
The future doesn’t look like what I planned last year at this time but the future is good.
I told an old friend this and he said “if you can say that in 2020 you are in a better place than you were last year then you my dear have achieved- have received- more than most”.
I sit today reflecting on 2020 and trying to determine my #wordoftheyear for 2021. Thinking about the future. This is the first year I haven’t already written my new resolutions. Normally they are ready weeks in advance. Normally I am about action.
More and more I am learning to let the right things happen.
And so today I receive in gratitude the unexpected blessings 2020 brought to me.
Among them are you. Much love.

The universe of "Merveilles de Babellou"
It is in the historic heart of the Saint-Ouen flea market, the largest antiques market in the world, that Isabelle Klein opened “Les Merveilles de Babellou” at the Marché Bert, in 2008.
With its expertise in vintage fashion, it contributes in its own way to the heritage of this emblematic institution, by presenting a very specialized selection from the history of great French fashion designers and brands. More than a country, it's a whole universe to discover in a refined setting.
Indeed, owning rare or exceptional pieces is a luxury when these flagship models are part of the history of fashion. Beyond the cultural endorsement of a trend, vintage luxury is a dream, a journey through time that meets the dual requirement today of being both unique and eco-responsible.
Specializing in fashion jewelry from fashion designers including those from Chanel, Isabelle Klein has assembled a large collection of luxury clothing and accessories paying tribute to the history of fashion.
