Dinner Casa Mia. Hosting visitors always means a trip to Rialto to buy some sea bass and teach my guests one of the simplest recipes on earth. You may not know it, but I studied cooking in my 20s in Paris and my personal philosophy of cuisine is 5 ingredients or less for each dish I prepare. For this one… it’s Fish. Lemons. Salt. Olive Oil and Prosecco. Bake. We feasted on a radicchio and pink lettuce salad with crispy fried artichoke and then scallops in their shell, and shrimp before the branzino. Sharing this experience with my sister and brother in law was so fun and my dad was such an old pro… “Oh yeah, Rialto that’s where we get the fish” he says when I tell him I need to run to the market. Mid day we took a taxi to see Amy the Chiropractor to do a treatment before our flight the next day as I take my family on a Thanksgiving adventure!! 2 international flights in one week takes preventive planning for my Papa Bear. Earlier this year dad told me what was on his bucket list and I said “Let’s do it.” This morning the water taxi came at 6.45 to whisk us away for the first part of our 3 leg flight around the world to Asia. #watchthisspace to see where this flight takes us…#aroundtheworld
