Found It
After looking for months of looking yesterday I found exactly what I was looking for. A tiny weeny pied a terre in Greve in Chianti. It’s buried in weeds and trees and needs a new porch, but it’s absolutely perfect. It’s located in the middle of an olive grove and a vineyard. The grape drying shed for making vin santo is next door. Although someday I would like to buy, for now I am renting, and it’s costing me monthly about the price of a nice dinner for 2. It is exactly what I was looking for. A home away from home in the country. This year I have needed to return to the earth. Venice belongs on the water and my feet needed grounded. Don’t worry.
