Smell the Flowers
Because I have been informed there aren’t enough cat pictures in my feed.... And because as I journal this morning I am realizing 2020 for me has been all about stopping to not only smell the flowers but to play with them.
My nature is to plan, to work on next years garden, I am visionary, but looking too far at the horizon means I miss what’s at my feet.
In 2020 I have been soul gardening. I have realized that if I’m in the garden, it’s where I am suppose to be. I am here for a reason. Enjoy it.
So today I let the sun shine in. I take confidence in the sacred power of my original nature- to be happy. I was born happy. Cultural conditioning causes me to worry and doubt- but when I step into the garden of my soul I have no fear.
When I am given the gift of a flower I don’t dwell on the fact the flower is going to die- I enjoy the beauty of the moment.
This is what- as I reflect on this year- what 2020 is teaching me. To enjoy the garden. To play with the soul flowers. To spread seeds to empower others to do the same.
